She is a chemistry professor at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. She has written 14 full length scripts, a stage play, produced 5 shorts and a music video and is a member of Writers Guild of America. Among her many awards is the Grand Jury Award at the  WorldFest Houston Film and Video Festival. Rama The Legend is her first graphic novel and was adapted from her award winning screenplay, Rama, An Adaptation Of The Ramayana Legend.

Arcana Studios was founded in 2004 and won the Shuster award for Outstanding Publisher in 2005, as voted by the retailers and readers. Currently his Clockwork Girl is being developed as an animation film with Telefilm Canada.
