BIRD BRAIN * Comedy

Scott Matheney, a sensitive fifteen-year-old, comes of age during a difficult time. Being somewhat of a loner, Scott pals around with his rogue of a grandfather, Harry Maniti and Harry's parrot, Prissy. After winning big at the horses Harry ticks off the Almighty, "I'm so stinking rich, nothing can touch me now!" Lightning strikes Harry's umbrella killing him, but not completely. Harry's soul goes into the parrot's body. When Scott inherits the parrot, he learns of Harry's predicament. Scott tries to be Harry's conscience so Harry can pay off his karmic debt. Harry, as Prissy the parrot, must develop his own conscience and make amends for his life. Meanwhile, Scott must resolve his negative feelings towards his father and develop his own identity.

CAT HOUSE Comedy/Drama

Cat House is a comedy/drama about the antics and angst of nine college women who live together off campus. A mechanical engineering student is the house mother for this Heinz 57 group of women: a punk rocker, a picture perfect anorectic, a down-home country girl, a mad scientist, a girl who can't say no, a couch potato and the dress alike buddies. In setting the course for the rest of her life, each woman faces choices. Their moods range from catty to caring as crises make the women examine their relationships with themselves, with each other, and with men.

DEADLY AMANITA Murder Mystery/Romantic Comedy

Deadly Amanita is a murder mystery/romantic comedy, which takes place at a university located in a small town. The method of murder fits the victim when Dr. Paul Hullen, Chairman of Agriculture is done in with a salad. If it were not for Dr. Cathy Belford, the new hot shot coroner, it would have been the perfect crime. Unfortunately the prime suspect is Dr. Eric Sweeney, old classmate and new love interest of Cathy. Eric has motive: he was denied tenure and threatened Hullen. Eric has the means: his research involves the deadly Amanita mushroom. Cathy searches for the truth, afraid of what she may find.

DESTRUCTION BY DESIGN Action-Adventure/Comedy

Four young professionals camp downstream from a designer drug laboratory. After drinking the water from the stream, three of them wake up in the hospital. The fourth one remains in a coma. Brain scans reveal unusual patterns of activity, depending upon what each camper was doing at the time of drinking the water. One has enhanced hearing, another has enhanced sight, and the third has enhanced sense of smell. Unfortunately, the motor control center, the cerebellum, was also affected, totally incapacitating them in times of stress. Using their new powers, they set out to uncover the drug ring.

FASTEN YOUR SUNBELT Comedy

A Catholic couple from New Jersey make an exploratory drive through the South on their way to Miami to take a cheap flight to the Bahamas. There is a world of difference between what is happening to them and what they think is happening. Their misadventures include a cave-in at the underground caverns, checking in at a porno motel, meeting the Kinsmen of Kenneth Kiester, getting 'healed' at a revival, inadvertently driving through the filming of a high speed chase scene in a trucker movie, and finally getting hijacked. They are lovable survivors ready for whatever life dishes out.

GONE SOUTH* Sitcom Pilot

My Cousin Vinnie’s family moves South, when Claude Mayfield IV gets the New Jerseyite, Paddy McCoy, as his new neighbor. The Mayfields, Claude, Merl, and Tiffany Sue, live in the family mansion complete with antiques, conservative politics, fundamentalist religion, and hypocrisy. The McCoys, Paddy, Maria, and Lou, live in a bungalow on a 50 by 100 plot of land surrounded by the Mayfield estate. The McCoys enjoy overstuffed velour furniture and liberal views and are naturally obnoxious.

IVORY TOWERS Drama

Ivory Towers is a 1980's drama dealing with Affirmative Action at a Southern university. Melville Fitzgerald, an African-American intellectual, accepts the position of president unaware that his race was the deciding factor. Mary Karnowski, Chairman of the Presidential Search Committee, resents that the university is being used as a pawn for votes by the politicians. When Melville arrives on campus, he is greeted with a frigid reception from the faculty and a cross burning by some students. Mary, perennial champion of social causes and underdogs, now becomes one of Melville's biggest supporters. Melville struggles with a hostile faculty and Mary faces her own unaddressed prejudices. The emotionally charged issues of academic freedom and bigotry give rise to the practical issues of money and power.

KATE Romantic Comedy

Kate Johnson, a very successful lawyer, gets transported back in time to the gay nineties and falls in love. Trading in her jogging suit and sneakers for a corset and boots is easier than adjusting to the confining attitude of society towards women. Without half trying, Kate becomes a firebrand for women's rights when she forges her way into the shoe factory. Zach Callister, the son of the factory owner, becomes smitten by this beautiful, spunky oddity of a woman and does some old fashioned courting. Much to Kate's surprise, she enjoys being courted and treated like a lady. Kate gets a once in her lifetime opportunity to return to the twenty-first century. Does she opt to return to her successful career or remain behind with the man she loves?

THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT* Romantic Comedy

A couple signs a marriage contract -- for twenty-five years. At their silver anniversary gala, forced upon them by his nouveau riche father, they announce they will be single again at midnight.. Their grown children cry abandonment, their parents are devastated, and their friends hit on them. They become fishes out of water when they reenter the dating world.

MEL'S BABY Romantic Comedy

Melissa Simmons' biological clock goes off and she decides to be artificially inseminated. Her mother, Esther, who believes only crazies put deposits in sperm banks, plots with her old college roommate, Gertrude, to have Gertrude's son, Jake, be the donor. Neither Melissa nor Jake are aware of the maternal manipulations. The order of courtship and marriage goes awry: Boy gets girl pregnant, boy dates girl, girl breaks up with boy, girl delivers baby, boy marries girl.

MIRACLES IN MISSISSIPPI TV Docudrama

Uplifting story of THE MIRACLES, a choir from the Baddour Memorial Center for mentally challenged adults, who perform throughout the South. Betty, who has experienced the hurt and ridicule of a moderately retarded adult main-streamed in a menial job, hears THE MIRACLES sing at her church and wants to join them. Her protective parents are opposed, but relent after Betty's father has a close call with death. Betty goes through the vigorous program and eventually becomes a Miracle. A story of love, joy, and triumph.

MOTHER IS A VERB Half-hour Drama

An orphaned inner-city youth experiences a lack of identity because he doesn't know who is father is. His teacher gives him a sense of self, by having him see he is more than his genetic heritage.

MY ABILITY AND JUDGMENT Drama

Dr. Matthew Doeson, Jr. has it all: a thriving medical practice, an intelligent wife, and three beautiful teenage children. At his twenty-fifth medical school reunion, Matt is surprised to hear that the class valedictorian is a 'doc in a box' at a walk-in clinic. Feeling quite secure in his small town practice, Matt listens to the malpractice horror stories with detached objectivity. Then it happens to him and the nightmare begins. The emotional dynamics of a medical family in crisis shows that the 'perfect' family is as dysfunctional as everyone else’s.

RAMA* Feature Animation

Rama is an adaptation of the Hindu legend, Ramayama. Rama is a reincarnation of the god, Vishnu who must defeat the Demon King who had stolen Sita, Rama’s wife. To bridge the Eastern and Western cultures, two buddy characters were added - Rarecrow, a street-smart crow and Raj, an intellectual mongoose.

TIMELESS BAGGAGE New Age Drama

Timeless Baggage is a story in which past life regressions give an insight into modern life. Francine Sandor is a ruthless marketing executive whose life has no joy. Through regression therapy, she recognizes that her present nemesis is a recurring rival and that her coworker has been her unrequited love.

 WEEKEND DAD Family Comedy

Weekend Dad is a family comedy in which the mom initiates a separation agreement  with her workaholic husband after her young son asks her to divorce his dad so he could do neat stuff with him on weekends like his best friend’s divorced father does.  Ginny and Stewart Welthem are the parents of Noel, age 7, and Billy, age 5. The two less-than-human members of the family are Stomach, the dog, and Dust Ball, the hamster. Stewart is catapulted from his ordered world of the insurance business into the chaotic world of young boys. After a period of adjustment he rediscovers fun and discovers he has terrific kids. Ginny outsmarts herself in the deal when she discovers that the stresses of the professional world prevent her from enjoying her sons. The boys want both, the "old Mom" and the "new Dad".
